So, how does the BeautyTek work?

BeautyTek has blended modern technology with traditional Chinese medicene.  BeautyTek works with a micro current on the acupuncture points along the meridian lines used in Chinese therapy.

The BeautyTek uses customized eletrolytes for each treatment offered.  The electrolytes act as an interface between the body and the probe. Using the electrolytes improves the signal carriage and prevents the probe dragging on the skin. They also open the ion channels to increase the energy supply to the cells and contain active substances that are absorbed through the pores by iontophoresis.

Together with the stimulation produced by BeautyTek, the electrolytes reduce the bio-impedance of the treated tissue. High bio-impedance has a high pathological potential (e.g. cancer patients have a very high bio-impedance). Reduction of the bio-impedance improves the tissue’s ability to activate the self-healing process.

Use of the correct electrolyte is essential to avoid alloyed stimulation or communication. Each electrolyte has been programmed into the BeautyTek software to ensure this does not take place.

By supplying a microcurrent through various probes, energy is transferred into the body and the body's reaction to the stimulus is measured and supplied to the computer for analysis.  The computer sends 80 signals per second to read the tissue.  The computer's program decides if the transferred energy pattern is at an optimum.  If so, the therapy on that area is complete.  If not, another transfer of energy will be given.

Only after reaching what Medilab describes as "an energetic equilibrium" will BeautyTek's treatment program automatically stop.  In order to transfer the energy into the body's differing electrical currents of low frequency, modulated waveforms are used.  The major effect that is achieved is the management and redistribution of water in the treated area.  The probe and a counter-electrode generates an electrical potential which stimulates the ions in the area, thus redistributing the excess water.

Why distribute excess body water?  Dehydrating and decomposing fatty tissue - excess water stored in the fat cells plumps them out and makes them appear larger than they are.  BeautyTek removes this water from the fat cells and breaks down the fatty clusters into fatty acids, which the body can burn into energy.  Once this happens, it will help increase your metabolism.

An overall improvement in health is to be expected as BeautyTek helps to remove excess water, fat and toxic waste products from the lymphatic system.  At the same time, the electric current and mechanical massage stimulate the lymphatic pathways to remove the excess water containg toxic materials and metabolites.

What are lymphatic pathways?   The lymphatic system is the body's water and waste transport system, closely linked to the circulatory system.  The Lymphatic system transports excess interstitial fluid out of the tissue and back to the bloodstream. It maintains blood volume homeostasis around body cells and assists movements of materials into and out of cells. It transports fat, proteins (including hormones) and nutrients around the body. It provides immunological defenses against disease causing agents. Over time, this system can become blocked or sluggish.  BeautyTek stimulates the lymphatic system, clearing lymphatic blockages and disposing of toxic waste more quickly.

Iontoporesis transfers nutrients and stimulates the electrolyte gel into the tissue, and as circulation is enhanced, the temperature increases, and stimulates fat metabolism.  Enhanced metabolism is the rate at which the body uses energy and is called the metabolic rate.  When increased, the metabolic rate consumes more calories for energy and burns more fat.
